Murder Productions can provide you with a Murder Mystery Dinner or a Murder Mystery Weekend to co-inside with your existing arrangements.  We offer a personalised script at no additional cost to make the event unique to you.  Alternatively our team can take all the strain from you by managing the whole event on your behalf; including sourcing the venue and food.  Through our Murder Mystery Dinners we have built links with many venues ranging from 5* hotels to local restaurants.  We have experience in providing Murder Mystery Dinners for Networking Events, Hen Nights, Corporate Entertainment and Christmas Parties (with & without Disco afterwards).  We also specialise in Surprise murder mystery dinners, as with all our private murder mystery dinners the script will be completely personalised at no additional cost.  To enquire about holding a Private Murder Mystery Dinner please call: 07771 698083 or email: sales@Murderproductions.co.uk

HOW DOES A MURDER MYSTERY DINNER WORK?

A Murder Mystery Dinner is an interactive dinner theatre experience. Guests usually sit down to a 3-course meal (although this is not compulsory) and the actors are placed on tables with the guests; so at some point, you could be dining with a Murderer! Actors stand up to talk to each other when a scene is about to start, at this point everyone in the room focuses their attention on the actors to listen to the vital clues/information they are providing; this is considered to be a private scene between the actors that as a guest you are "overhearing". You will then have the opportunity to question the actors at the end of the scene. At the end of the Murder Mystery Dinner answer sheets are handed out.  We provide two answer sheets and a prize for each winner; one for the most Creative Answer and one for solving the Murder! The individual or team with the best creative answer win a certificate and a prize as does the individual or team or who solves the Murder!

CAN YOU PROVIDE A THEME FOR MY EVENT?

Yes, we create a bespoke script for each event, so for example for hen nights we work closely with you to theme the event around a particular interest of the bride or for a corporate event we can theme the event around your business area.

ARE YOUR MURDER MYSTERY DINNERS FANCY DRESS?

Our Murder Mystery Dinners are usually themed around the plot, for example if the plot was a wedding then our cast would dress in a manner you would expect for their role; if for example you are attending one of our 1920's Murder Mystery Dinners then our cast will be dressed in keeping with that era - and will not have heard of mobile phones! We invite our guests to join in with the theme by dressing in a style appropriate to the theme, however this is entirely optional.

I HAVE BEEN OFFERED A MINOR ROLE, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

It means that we will give you a relationship to a main actor, for example if the plot was a wedding, you could for example be an employee of the groom. You will receive a name badge on the evening stating your character name and your relationship to one of our central characters.  This is so that you are easily identifiable to the actors. This is just a bit of fun to make the experience even more interactive for those who want it to be!  Again, this is entirely optional.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM/MINIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE?

No party size is too small or too large. The smallest event we have worked with was a Murder Mystery Dinner for a hen party of 15 in a private function room.  Usually our public events have an average of 50 – 60 guests.

WHY IS A MURDER MYSTERY DINNER SO GOOD FOR TEAM BUILDING AND NETWORKING?

A Murder Mystery Dinner provides a common interest and talking point for guests; as such they make a fantastic opportunity for networking, team building and corporate entertainment.  We have experience of working with companies both large and small, from Pitney Bowes and Lloyds TSB to an independent coffee shop.
